OK.
Here is the plan. We must all, every one of us, help control the
demand for inexpensive, top-quality accomodations less we loose
our new favorite place on planet Earth to plop our heads.
You see, if the positive story gets out, The Inn-Crowd will be like
Phuket, Samui and the Full Moon party...some where you could actually
book into during the "Good Old Days."
So, for the record, this place is "ok" and "not bad,"
but never "amazing" or "pefect."
Further, Ping must be described as a despot who wakes us at 6am
for exercise, while Hai smells oddly of cheese.
You know, come to think of it maybe we should just tell the truth.
This has been a great find for all of us early adopters. A great
place to stage from or even spend time getting to really know Singpore.
Maybe we should just start talking about the "Good Old Days"
now.
After all, these are the Inn Crowd's initial "Good Old Days."
Pay close attention and have digital cameras and your memories close
at hand.
Best-est Regards...

Before
I arrived in Singapore I thought what the hell am I going to do
for 3 whole days myself. And thats not to mention the nights - when
you are by yourself nightime can be lonely. How wrong could I have
been. I dont want to leave. InnCrowd was fantastic. The facilities
are great and the place was so clean. Hai and Ping were really helpful.
Last night was very authentic travelling - real singaporean food
and fruit. Hilarious to watch everyone squirm eating Durian! The
other hostels on my trip will have a lot to live up to!! I will
definately return. Cheers Hai and Ping

Site:
Cute, clean, comfortable, compact, and cheap! I have nothing but
high remarks for this haven within Little India. I
searched on the internet for a cheap place to stay in Singapore
and found that it was lacking in nice hostels and affordable sleeping
arrangements. I was very LUCKY to find the website (www.the-inncrowd.com)
with loads of information for the fellow traveler, great visual
pictures of the tourist areas, and the chance to stay in a nice,
new hostel run by angels. Hai and Ping take care to spoil travelers
with an area for free internet access, seating lounge with books,
music, and more plus free breakfast, access to a beautiful kitchen,
comfortable dorm style beds, and clean, hot showers. Oh, they also
have one double room if you want your privacy and I have been told
that the bed is extra comfortable. Now, I know that you are thinking
that this place sounds too good to be true. If you don't believe,
please take a look at their website and think about traveling to
Singapore. I feel like I could spend days just enjoying the environment
of the hostel with no need to see the outside world. Ping and Hai
are always willing to listen, talk, and give advice for the lost
traveler, and even organize group trips to places not to be missed.
I'm
off to hit Chinatown and the penning of the Esplanade for the free
cultural events. |

TAXI
If
you miss the last MRT train or you just want to arrive in style,
take the taxi. The fare should be about SGD15 (before midnight)

expensive! The taxi ride should take about 15 mins.
ALL
TAXIS IN SINGAPORE ARE METERED, NEVER BASED ON
FLAT RATE. (If any excuses
are given for not turning on the meter, take note of the taxi's
registration number and give the details to Hai. Take another cab.)
