HOT
POTTING
(26 Apr to 22 May 2003)
Enuff of sting rays, frog's leg congee, beef horfun and satays! Our
appetite for other good food took us off the beaten track to Marina
South, new home of Geylang's famous Roadside Hotpot Stall. The stall
is now no longer by the roadside, and diners no longer have to dab sweat
off their brow as they dip the raw stuff in super spicy soup out in
Singapore's heat. The Roadside Hotpot Stall is now housed in an airconditioned
building with swanky decor. We had great fun doing the hotpot thing
and ate till our seams popped (almost)!
